The Application Server is a powerful scripting tool that handles and processes transactions from the Transaction Server. The scripting languages support major languages like Pascal, Visual Basic, Java, Perl and SQL. By using these scripts, the processing logic can be written to handle a transaction and return the result back to the Transaction Server. With built-in database client connector, the Application Server can access almost all sorts of database available in the industry via native connection or ODBC.
